Surf Guide
South Africa

It was my first time visiting South Africa and I couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to South African waves and culture. My surf guide’s local insight and knowledge of surf breaks across South Africa and Namibia is unrivalled. He knew which breaks would be working given the weather and swell conditions and he was spot on.– David, California (via Tripadvisor)

South Africa is the ultimate destination for a surf trip with uncrowded, pumping waves around every corner. With the exchange rate in your favour, you’ll find yourself having a helluva good time without having to break the bank.

The surf guide package includes everything from transport, to food, accommodation, drinks and daily surf sessions with an experienced local guide. It’s your ticket to surfing South Africa‘s best waves.

Where are our surf guides?

We offer surf guide packages all along the South African coastline, from the Western Cape, to the Overberg region, or the West Coast and East Coast of South Africa. These areas cover popular waves such as Koel Bay, Lamberts Bay, Elands Bay, Llandudno, Dunes, Caves, Jeffreys Bay, Vic Bay and many more lesser known but equally impressive surf spots.

What to expect

Start each day off with a hearty breakfast before heading out for a day of surf and adventure. You’ll be guided to a range of uncrowded surf spots daily, with waves to suit your surfing preferences and skill level. When the surf isn’t on, you’ll have a number of outdoor adventure activities, waterfall hikes, safari drives, and more to choose from.

Pumping, uncrowded waves

South Africa is world-renowned for its variety of pumping, uncrowded and consistent waves  – but, like most other untouched gems of the world, it’s not always easy to find the right wave on the right day. That’s where we come in.

Our mission as surf guides is to ensure your surf trip exceeds your expectations. We achieve this by using our local knowledge to guide you to pumping, uncrowded waves with incredible set-ups. Our guides are masters at reading conditions and have travelled the African coastline in search of its best waves for over 15 years.

Personalised surf guide packages

Our surf trips are personalised, and tailored to your needs. Whether you are a laid-back traveller looking for a relaxing surf holiday; or an adrenaline junkie looking for an adventure-filled holiday, we’ve got you covered. South Africa is recognised world-wide as one of the best surf trips for intermediate surfers, as well as advanced surfers.
