Cancellation Policy

South Africa Surf Tours is committed to providing exceptional service. Unfortunately, when a customer cancels their surf trip for any reason, it prevents another customer from being served. In addition, cancellations and no-shows lead to non-refundable accommodation fees and guide fees being forfeited by our company.

For these reasons, South Africa Surf Tours (Pty) Ltd has implemented a cancellation policy that will be strictly observed.

This cancellation policy is applicable to ALL surf trips booked with South Africa Surf Tours (Pty) Ltd. 

Deposit Refunds

  • Due to the nature of our business, a 30% deposit is required to secure your travel dates. This 30% deposit is strictly non-refundable.

Trip Fees Refunds

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of payment will receive 100% refund of trip fees.
  • Cancellations made 1 month or more before your set arrival date will receive a 50% refund of trip fees (excluding accommodation and activities already booked).
  • Cancellations made within 1 month of your arrival date will receive 20% refund of trip fees (excluding accommodation and activities already booked).
  • No shows or trips cancelled with less than 1 month notice are responsible for 100% of trip fees (including accommodation and activities already booked).

Accommodation & Activity Refunds

Our accommodation is outsourced through Booking.com. Our activities are outsourced to reputable third-party vendors.

Should your surf trip be cancelled for any reason (including covid-19 restrictions) , you will be held liable for any accommodation and activity cancellation fees applied by our third party vendors.

Where ever possible, we try to book accommodation and activities with semi-flexible cancellation policies. This is however difficult during peak seasons.
