Become A Freelance Surf Guide

We have been receiving a lot of enquiries from people all over the world and South Africa with interest in becoming a surf guide, a.k.a the greatest job in the world. As a surf guide, you get to travel to deserted beaches to find empty line ups to share with our guests.

Our priorities when hand-picking our Surf guides are: 

• Passion for what you do. You need to have passion for the ocean, nature and showing guests a great time in and out of the water.
• Being social and interactive with guests.
• Lifesaving skills, because the ocean is unpredictable at times and you need to be confident in your ability to save someone.
• Confidence in your own surfing ability and the ability to bring good vibes to the water.
• Relevent qualifications (Coaching, lifesaving, ect.).
• Respect, humilty and no ego.
